Appointments and Clinic Hours
The Mountain States Hand Clinic handles scheduling for Dr. Watkins Monday through Friday. You can reach Dr. Watkins at any time through our main office number. If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please give us a 24 hour notice so that we can re-arrange your appointment for urgent needs.
If you are new to our practice, please arrive 30 minutes early to complete your health history, insurance, and billing forms.
Billing
At Mountain States Hand Clinic, we accept most insurance and health plans. You are responsible for your deductible and any co-payments at the time of service, as well as any amount which is not covered by your insurance.
Your payments may be made by cash, personal check, credit card, or local debit cards. We do our best to limit your paperwork, so please bring your insurance cards with you to the office. We bill all insurance for you, but cannot accept any liability cases.
Due to the high number of disability forms we receive, there is a small fee for completion of these forms. We are more than happy to discuss our charges with you and assist you with financial arrangements. We're always open to your suggestions, too!
If you have any questions or concerns, please call us at
(208) 343-2555.
Examination
Your initial exam will be a comprehensive one. We do our best to complete all necessary tests, thoroughly explain your test results, and confer with you and make recommendations at that time. Please plan for your appointment to last at least 45 minutes. Before you leave our clinic, we make every effort to explain the various treatment options available for your condition- you may include any family member during such discussions. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Emergencies and Prescriptions
We understand that emergencies rarely occur during office hours. Dr. Watkins provides 24-hour emergency coverage. If you have an emergency, please call us at (208) 343-2555.
If you need a medication refill, please contact your pharmacist. We do not authorize prescriptions after 4:00 PM on weekdays, or on weekends at all.
